FOR AGES 4-12 NEW AND WITH TENNIS EXPERIENCE ON A 44 FT COURT
The Summer Tennis Workshop allow your child to exercise, gain social interaction and continue to build upon their tennis skills. Using red balls, the focus is on stroke production, footwork, athletic skill development, rallying and point play. Players will rotate between courts every 20-25 minutes. Note, beginners are welcome; no prior tennis experience is required. Enrollment will have a limited capacity.

No matter how you play, tennis is for you! This week we’ll explore how tennis can be adapted for kids, wheelchair players, and those with visual impairments, making sure everyone can enjoy the game.
Week 2
Game, Set...Team?
Players will discover the unique rules and tactics in singles and doubles tennis. Through watching pros, they’ll compare playing solo versus playing with a teammate and how that changes the game.
Week 3
Serving Inspiration
Meet the heroes of the game! From Billie Jean King to Serena and Arthur Ashe, players will dive into the stories and signature moves of tennis’s most inspiring role models.
Week 4
Mind Over Match
Tennis isn’t just physical—it’s mental too! Learn how focus, resilience, and calm thinking can make all the difference, just like the pros do in high-pressure moments.
Week 5
Swing Into Action
How does spin work? Why does the ball bounce differently on each shot? Through fun experiments and games, players will discover the science that powers every swing.
Week 6
Tennis Through Time
Travel through tennis history—from royal courts to today’s Grand Slams. Players will see how the game has evolved and what’s stayed timeless.
Week 7
Courts of All Kinds
Clay, grass, hard—and everything in between. Discover how different court surfaces shape the game, the bounce, and the way we move.
Week 8
Stars & Stripes of Tennis
Celebrate American tennis legends and learn the history behind the U.S. Open! This week connects the dots between homegrown heroes and the global game.
