Designed to Win—Court 16 Claims International Honors

We’re proud to share the news that Court 16’s Downtown Brooklyn club has received the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD for 2025. This internationally recognized honor celebrates the excellence in design and innovation that Court 16 brings to this boutique indoor tennis club.

Anthony Evrard, Court 16’s co-founder and CEO, shared his enthusiasm: “We’re excited to be recognized with this award. It’s a testament to the hard work and passion we pour into creating spaces where every detail—from coaching to design—comes together to enhance the experience for our members.”

This year’s award is especially meaningful as it places Court 16 Downtown Brooklyn among the top designs out of nearly 11,000 submissions from 66 countries. With such a competitive field, we’re proud to stand out, and this win reflects the continuous efforts we make to bring high-quality, innovative experiences to our members.

Designed by the talented architect Matias Honorato Torrealba, all of Court 16’s clubs are created with you in mind—whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player. “The architecture is about more than just walls and windows,” says Matias. “It’s about creating spaces where every element flows together in harmony, making it a welcoming place for families and individuals alike.”

Located in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn at City Point, the borough’s new landmark destination for food, shopping, and entertainment, Court 16’s flagship 28,000-square-foot facility brings tennis to this vibrant community hub. The club features five court sizes—including a full-size court—and an integrated ball machine training program that offers a dynamic, hands-on approach to skill development. Home to Court 16’s Brooklyn Tennis Academy, the club delivers an unparalleled range of tennis experiences for both kids and adults. It also hosts special tennis-themed events and serves as a one-of-a-kind venue for private gatherings.

At Court 16, we’re more than just a tennis club. We’re a community that believes in fostering connections, inspiring progress, and celebrating the joys of the game.
